Google Workspace API User Data & Limited Use
Teydra Lab's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What Teydra uses Google Workspace data for
Google Workspace data is accessed only after the account owner explicitly connects a Google service and authorizes the requested permission. Teydra uses that data only to provide the user-facing Google-connected feature the account owner enabled.
For the Google Sheets connection, Teydra uses Google's official Google Sheets remote MCP server. The user identifies the target spreadsheet, for example by its spreadsheet URL or ID. The connection can read that spreadsheet and, when the account manager explicitly enables a write tool, update or append data. Teydra does not use this Sheets connection to browse or list the user's Google Drive.
Minimum permissions
The Google Sheets connection requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets. This single scope is required because the user-facing feature can both read and update an existing spreadsheet selected by the user. A read-only Sheets scope cannot support the authorized write actions, and a Drive-wide read scope is unnecessary because Teydra does not browse or list Google Drive for this Sheets workflow. Teydra does not request the redundant spreadsheets.readonly, drive.readonly, or drive.file scopes for this connection.
AI/ML processing and training restriction
Teydra does not use, sell, transfer, or permit the use of raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived Google Workspace API user data to create, train, or improve a generalized or foundational machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model.
When an AI model must process data returned by an enabled Google Workspace connection to provide the requested user-facing feature, Teydra technically isolates that processing to the OpenAI API Platform. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train or improve its models by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in. Teydra keeps model-feedback, evaluation/fine-tuning, and API input/output data sharing disabled in the OpenAI API organization used for this processing. If the compliant API route is unavailable, Google Workspace tools are not made available to the model for that request.
Other AI integrations used elsewhere in Teydra are not permitted by Teydra's Google Workspace connector path to receive Google Workspace-derived tool data.
Storage, credentials, and human access
- OAuth access and refresh credentials are held server-side and are not exposed to the AI model or website visitors.
- Google Workspace access is limited to tools explicitly authorized by the Teydra account manager.
- Teydra does not create a permanent copy of Google Workspace source data for model-training purposes.
- Human access to Google Workspace data is limited to the account's enabled product functionality and legally permitted support, security, or compliance cases.
Revocation and deletion
An account owner can disconnect a Google connection in Teydra and can revoke Teydra's Google authorization in their Google Account. Data that has already been deliberately written by the user to another destination is governed by that destination's retention rules.
